Notification system
Status: In development
Optserv is building a notification system that covers in-app and email alerts for:
- Leave request submitted / approved / rejected
- Overtime request submitted / approved / rejected
- Attendance correction submitted / approved / rejected
- Employee invited or offboarded
- Low session balance (OptClass)
- Recruitment application received
Currently, approvals require actively checking Optserv. Notifications will eliminate the need for managers and HR to poll the system.

Offboarding checklist
Status: In development
A structured offboarding checklist that helps HR and Admins ensure nothing is missed when someone leaves:
- Steps tailored to the departing employee's access (roles, Account Sharing items, School records)
- Credential rotation prompts ("Jake had access to Instagram, analytics platform — rotate these passwords")
- Completion tracking so multiple people can collaborate on offboarding steps

Self-serve audit log
A full, searchable audit log accessible to Admins in-app — not just available on request. Covers all key events: role changes, approvals, settings modifications, Account Sharing access changes.
Payroll integration hooks
Export-ready payroll data: attendance hours, approved overtime, leave taken — formatted for common payroll tools.
Mobile app (iOS & Android)
Native mobile apps for employee self-service: clock in/out, leave requests, and schedule viewing (OptClass students).
