School (OptClass) Overview
School (OptClass) is Optserv's education and kiosk-style workspace — students, teachers, schedules, and session-based attendance.
OptClass is Optserv's specialized workspace for companies that run tutoring programs, corporate training, language schools, or any kiosk-style educational operation.
It's a separate workspace from HR — designed for the student/teacher model, not the employee/manager model.
What OptClass covers

Who uses OptClass
Staff (Admin, HR, Manager, Employee) access OptClass through the staff web app at /school. All four staff roles have access to the School workspace when it's enabled.
Students access a separate kiosk-style interface. They do not use the staff web app and are actively blocked from it. See OptClass Student Access.
Enabling OptClass
OptClass is not enabled by default. It requires the school_accessible metadata claim on your company. Contact Optserv support to activate.
Once enabled, all staff can access /school and begin adding students, teachers, and schedules.
